About Us

Founded by industry veteran Eddie Cumart, Snack City’s food truck journey began in 2011 with a single truck. Over the years, Snack City has grown into a dynamic fleet of 48 trucks, offering a wide range of delicious food and beverages across New York City. As the brand continues to grow and elevate to new heights, Snack City Food Trucks prides itself on delivering high-quality, crave-worthy food directly to its customers.

Snack City’s expansion into the mobile vendor business has been fueled by a passion for service and community. By 2018, they added Carvel Ice Cream to their growing fleet, and in recent years, iconic brands like Auntie Anne’s, Cinnabon, and Jamba Juice were added. Today, Snack City is proud to be a multi-unit franchisee with a robust portfolio featuring a diverse array of delicious menu items, including pretzels, cinnamon buns, ice cream, smoothies, and more.

In May 2024, Snack City expanded further with the addition of five Auntie Anne’s and Cinnabon trucks. With exciting growth ahead, Snack City plans to open six to eight new trucks in 2025 through both acquisitions and new builds. Additionally, they are set to onboard two new franchise concepts in 2025-2026, continuing their mission to serve diverse, high-quality food experiences to loyal customers.

Operations

Snack City Food Trucks operates with a dedicated infrastructure to support its fleet and team, including a custom-built commissary and an in-house mechanic shop that services all their trucks. Their large, experienced field team is committed to delivering exceptional customer service, and they take pride in their strong relationships with New York City’s major hospitals, universities, religious organizations, and institutions across all five boroughs.

As a NYC Preferred Vendor, Snack City is honored to receive direct compensation from the City for its services. They also partner closely with GoTo Foods corporate teams to cater their events. Snack City’s team has proudly serviced major events, including Auntie Anne’s Knead fragrance launch and Carvel’s National Soft Serve Day.
